Exam Day Details

How can I confirm my exam(s) are ordered and when they will be?

  • Log In to myAP.collegeboard.org
  • Look to see if your class has assessment information
  • If registered for exam you will see under Exam Day date : “Given by Portland Public Schools: ATC”
  • If not registered for the exam you will see “Not registered for exam”

Students with exams on the same day will automatically have an exam moved to late testing for them.  In most cases, PPS does not consider student preference in which exams get moved.  We try to minimized costs and group as many late testers together as possible.   Students with more than 1 exam the same day should see one exam moved by April 15th.  PPS will email every student a finalized schedule when that is completed to their PPS email.

What happens if I cannot make my original exam?

The College Board has fixed late testing dates and times available.  In many cases there is a $40 fee to move to the late testing week. If you are sick the day of the exam or have a planned event that conflicts request to be moved to late testing by filling out the google form linked here. Requests made more than 2 hours after the start of the exam will not be honored.  Once switched to late testing you will not be able to move back. Make sure you are available on the late testing day by checking the 2026 AP Exam Schedule here.

How can I cancel my exam?
To cancel an exam please fill out the AP Exam Cancellation Form.  If you qualify for a refund (See PPS AP Exam Refund Policy) supply either a receipt from Schoolpay, screenshot from Schoolpay history, or a transaction number so we can refund the correct purchase and email that info to advancedplacement@pps.net in addition to filling out the form. Requests made after April 1st will not be refunded. Once cancelled the exam cannot be uncanceled.

Where will my exam be?

In general, exams are held this year at

If you receive accommodations for exams, and are approved by the College Board for exam accommodations, you may be testing at a local site and should be contacted by your school's testing coordinator listed on this page.  For more information about AP exam accommodations reach out to advancedplacement@pps.net
